Who we are

PeakControl is a brand of BackUp Consultancy BV, Hansbekedorp 54 bus B, 9850 Deinze, Belgium, company number (KBO/BCE) and VAT BE 1031.557.683. We are the controller of the personal data described below. Contact: hello@peakcontrol.io.

What we collect and why

Waitlist. When you join the waitlist we process your email address, country, preferred language, business type (if you fill it in) and the date and time of your consent. We use this only to inform you about the launch of PeakControl and to invite you to early access. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You confirm it via the link in our confirmation email (double opt-in).

Website operation and security. When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and to protect the waitlist form against abuse (rate limiting). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages and links (for example from Instagram) bring visitors. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

We do not sell your data, do not use it for profiling and do not use advertising trackers.

Who processes your data for us

  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — manages the waitlist and sends emails. Data stored in the EU.
  • Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosts the website. Transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Vercel is certified. We have a data processing agreement with each of them.

How long we keep it

Waitlist data: until you unsubscribe, and at most 24 months after our last email to you. Technical logs: as long as the hosting provider keeps them, 1 day (Vercel Pro).

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to hello@peakcontrol.io; this does not affect processing before withdrawal. We answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
